Whether you take it with cream or “black as midnight on a moonless night,” coffee is an essential ritual for many Knoxvillians.
Lucky for locals, the Scruffy City is a brewing town — and not just craft beer. Coffee concoctions are created each day by baristas throughout Knoxville, some of whom served Knox News intern Jake Yoder on his journey trying Knoxville’s coffee shops.
Yoder and Isabel Lohman, coffee lover and children’s issues reporter for Knox News, join “The Scruffy Stuff” co-host Ryan Wilusz on this week’s podcast episode to talk about the best coffee shops around.
The guests picked their favorites across multiple categories, including atmosphere, staff friendliness and the best cup of joe.
But could they come up with an overall favorite? Listen to the episode now!
